Images from our latest visit to the bustling Mumbles Produce Market; while performing our usual ‘surgical strike’ for bread and goat’s cheese I got waylaid yet again by the unobtrusive, but intriguing, Authentic (Japanese Food) stall. Two simple breads were on offer: a yellow pumpkin bread that was slight stodgy and gave the impression of being naturally sweet, also a light bun exquisitely sprinkled with an extremely fine sugar – like the start of a snow flurry. Both were beautifully made and delicious in their own different ways. The green tea cheesecake was as good fun as – well – does one remember the early 60s pop song. Sukiyaki?
