I had plans for posts over Christmas but a period of less than good health intervened. Now the curtain-up on the Edible Swansea new year is late. Apologies to anyone who still ‘following’ this blog.
My sinus infection was partly treated by a medicine that was new to me; sterilised French sea water – well the maker was French if not the sea water, I doubt they’d import it somehow. With the aid of a perkily shaped nozzle I squirted a fine spray up each nostril, which was a new sensation for me. The resulting experience was, I imagine, something like eating oysters and champagne perhaps a little too quickly. And this was not only a National Health Service prescription but, being Wales, free – eat your heart out Heston Blumenthal.
